Select the 4BT Unit Price Book

Why Select the 4BT Unit Price Book?

  • A quality Unit Price Book that is not static and is continuously maintained and updated.
  • 4BT Unit Price Book not a list of prices,  is a database of construction knowledge and associated cost and productivity information, with every line item containing assumptions.   It embodies decades of construction knowledge, commercial repair, renovation, maintenance, and construction productivity research, into a single line item.
  • Our unit price book exclusively contains LOCALLY RESEARCH COST DATA (all individual labor trades and burdens such as FICA, workers compenstation insurance, etc., materials, and equipment are specific to the location).  There is no use of national average cost data and associate location factors.  The use of location factors is an outdated practice that introduces significant costing areas.
  • Quarterly cost updates per location.
  • Local, regional, national material costs as appropriate
  • Local equipment rental and operational costs

Benefits

The formula:

Construction Labor rates and productivity for task associated Crew (per current commercial standards) + Materials + Equipment = Cost per unit of measure for a single line-item Construction Task.

The components associated with a line-item task:

  • Labor — crew makeup, burden, productivity
  • Materials — primary materials, consumables, waste factors
  • Equipment — small tools, rental assumptions, production equipment
  • Productivity — the assumptions associated with the line item task  (e.g. Normal Access, Normal working hours. Typical site conditions)

Research Methodology

  • Location specfic data for each of 130+ trades
  • National, Regional, or Local material pricing based upon availability
